While this is a great medium to come together, network, and disseminate information with fellow school psychologists we must also be mindful of the information that is conveyed through our different social media outlets. By participating through our social media forums, you agree that you have read and will follow the rules and guidelines set for these groups. OSPA recognizes that social networking sites can provide valuable outreach among member and nonmember school psychologists and facilitate interaction among school psychologists and the dissemination of information. Social Networking Group Guidelines and Etiquette Information posted is available for all to see, and comments are subject to libel, slander, and antitrust laws, so use caution when discussing products. The discussions are meant to stimulate conversation, not to create contention. In drafting messages, use caution to ensure that your message is not misunderstood as aggressive or an attack on another. Do not post anything that you would not want the world to see or that you would not want anyone to know came from you. Avoid posting defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal materials. This forum is intended for discussion, not sales, so please don't post commercial messages. In drafting your messages, keep in mind that your postings may be reproduced by others. All NASP members are reminded they are obligated to adhere to NASP’s Principles of Professional Ethics and agree to submit to NASP’s procedures in adjudicating alleged violations of same.
